1 May 1946 Sold by War Assets Corporation to an individual in Tulsa OK for $727.08

 

15 October 2008 Acquired by Heartland Air Museum for restoration.

             Records indicate the aircraft changed ownership six times since disposition

             Last recorded flight was 21 July 1949 a two-hour local flight in the Tulsa OK area

             TTAF at the completion of this flight was 880.0 hours.

 

According to family members of the owner before last, this aircraft was purchased as a lot of three aircraft.

 

This aircraft was disassembled and stored in a barn in Northeast OK and then purchased by a group of investors with the intent of restoration, after several moves from storage facilities, hangars etc. the Heartland Air Museum was able to acquire the aircraft to begin the restoration of this magnificent piece of World War II history.
